What is the Alphabetical Listing
Preference (Display Name)?
The
directory uses the information in this
field to alphabetically list a company.
For example, this allows a company that
uses a person's name to be listed
alphabetically by their last name, yet
have their full name displayed on the web
site. It also allows companies with names
starting with "The" to be listed under a
letter other than "T". If you leave the
field blank, the information in the
Company Name field will be used by
default. Listings that abuse this feature
by adding extra A's to their names may be
removed from the directory.
What should I put in the Address2 field?
Our company uses a P.O. Box. Which field
should I put that information into?
The
directory uses the information in the
Address1 field to automatically generate
the Map link to your location. If your
company uses a P.O. Box, your map link
will not work correctly. Put your physical
location in the Address1 field and your
P.O. Box in the Address2 field. The
Address2 field can also be used for
information like Suite number or
information like "Corner of Bridge &
Park".
What if I don't have a website?
How should I enter my website URL into the
Website field?
If you don't
have a website, we would be happy to
create one for you. Contact us at
sales@yubasutter.com.
We have options starting as low as $100.
If you do
have a site, be sure to enter the website
address (URL) in the format shown in the
example - www.yoursite.com. Failure
to do so will like cause the link in your
listing to be disabled.

Business Categories available for a FREE
listing and the Additional or Secondary

What are the "Keywords" associated with my
listing and how did they get there?
We have
divided the directory into approximately
20 Primary Categories. These "Master"
categories allow for a more stream-lined
approach to searching for a company
listing. Some categories are very large,
like "Service
Businesses" or "Wholesale and
Manufacturing", and others are relatively
small, like "Education
& Instruction". As we continually
improve the directory, we may adjust the
groupings. If you have any
recommendations, let us know. All
listings, including FREE ones, have
Keywords added to their listings to
enhance their appearance in the search
results. Free listings have ONLY the
keywords associated with their Primary
Category. Paid listings have keywords
added in two ways:
1. By selecting additional, secondary
categories to their listing.
2. By add words directly to the "Keyword"
field on the Edit Listing form.
What should I put in the "Area Served"
field?
List the
cities or counties that your company
services.
What are SIC and NAICS codes and how are
they used?
These codes
are standard industry codes created and
used by the US government to classify
businesses. If you know your code(s), go
ahead and enter it in the field provided.
This will be used in future enhancements
of the business directory
When adding an image for my company, what
is the "Default" image?
While you
can upload several graphics for your
listing, ONLY ONE graphic will be
displayed in the directory. The image
chosen as the DEFAULT will be the image
displayed.
When adding an image for my company, what
is the "ALT" image tag?
This text is
used by Web browsers to display text
during image downloads for users who have
graphics turned off, and for users who
rely on screen-reading software to convert
graphics on the screen to spoken words.
Most web browsers also display this text
when the mouse cursor is placed over the
image. You can view an example of this by
placing your mouse cursor over this image:
